Hunter Metcalf, who was born two minutes after Austin, unleashed the stinging rebuke after Anthony, 19, was slapped with a 35-year sentence Tuesday in the fatal stabbing of his 17-year-old brother.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou took a son, a brother, a friend, and my best friend, from this world. You took someone from me who was supposed to be an uncle, godfather to my kids. Now I want everything taken from you,\u201d Hunter choked through tears in a Texas courtroom,\u00a0CBS Texas reported.<\/p>\n
\u201cEventually your name will be forgotten,\u201d he added. \u201cBut my brother\u2019s memory will live on.\u201d<\/p>\n
The baby-faced teen killer was found guilty of first-degree murder for the death of Metcalf, a high school athlete he fatally knifed during a dispute at a track and field meet in Frisco on April 2, 2025.<\/p>\n
Anthony reportedly\u00a0sobbed his way through the verdict and sentencing\u00a0\u2014 and kept his head down when Metcalf\u2019s devastated loved ones started reading their victim impact statements.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were robbed!\u201d Metcalf\u2019s father, Jeff, cried out as he fumed at Anthony, \u201cDon\u2019t look down!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou failed your parents, you failed yourself, and you failed society \u2026 You don\u2019t belong in this community. You\u2019re going to prison. I forgave you the day it happened. I don\u2019t forgive what you did. You can\u2019t look me in the eyes but you can stab my f\u2013king son!\u201d<\/p>\n
The Metcalf family left the court when Hunter, who spoke last, finished his speech.<\/p>\n
