A new demand letter tied to the\u00a0Nancy Guthrie\u00a0case claims to know who kidnapped her, alleging that more than one person was responsible.<\/p>\n

The person who emailed the letter to\u00a0TMZ\u00a0claimed to have \u201ca phone stashed in a secure location\u201d containing what they said was a video of the \u201cmain guy\u201d with Nancy on the day the sender described as \u201cprobably her last,\u201d the news outlet reported on Friday, June 26.<\/p>\n

The letter further claimed that two people were involved in the kidnapping, alleging the phone contains \u201cpictures of both involved, names and addresses and age.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to TMZ, the letter was sent from the same email address that previously sent the media outlet ransom notes, referencing an earlier bitcoin address while providing a new one in the latest message.<\/p>\n

The outlet reported that it forwarded the email to the FBI. PEOPLE has also reached out to the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department for comment on the newly surfaced note but had not received a response by publication time.<\/p>\n
The news comes days after details of one of the initial ransom notes allegedly sent by the kidnappers\u00a0were made public, claiming the 84-year-old mother of\u00a0Today\u00a0show host\u00a0Savannah Guthrie\u00a0died unintentionally shortly after she was taken from her Tucson, Ariz., home on Feb. 1.<\/p>\n

In the note, the alleged kidnapper reportedly expressed regret over her death but did not include an apology or any demand for money in exchange for the return of her body, multiple sources close to the investigation told\u00a0CNN\u00a0and\u00a0NBC News.<\/p>\n
That note followed a previous one which demanded millions of dollars in Bitcoin for Nancy’s safe return and contained what KOLD news anchor Mary Coleman called\u00a0\u201cconcerning”\u00a0information that was handed over to authorities.<\/p>\n

Nearly five months later, Nancy\u2019s whereabouts remain unknown and no suspects have been identified in her case.<\/p>\n
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department told PEOPLE earlier this week that the investigation into Nancy’s kidnapping “remains active and ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n
