Speak now or forever hold your peace: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married! The singer-songwriter and Kansas City Chiefs player tied the knot in a ceremony on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden, Rolling Stone has confirmed.<\/p>\n
The couple did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Swift\u2019s brother Austin Swift served as her \u201cMan of Honour\u201d and Jason Kelce was Kelce\u2019s Best Man. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler.<\/p>\n
Both Swift, 36, and Kelce wore a wedding look designed by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior Haute Couture.<\/p>\n
Unsurprisingly, the big spectacle was jam-packed with musicians, from Swift\u2019s close collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner to her close friends in the music industry like Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, the Haim sisters, Sombr, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Rascal Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney, and Maren Morris.<\/p>\n

The New York Times reported that on Thursday, July 2 the couple would host \u201can intimate gathering of about 100 people\u201d and the following day they would hold a larger event with \u201cabout 1,000 guests,\u201d citing an \u201centertainment industry executive and another person with knowledge of the matter.\u201d<\/p>\n
Amtrak police officers in charge of Penn Station, which sits underneath MSG, confirmed to the publication that they were \u201ctold to expect a Swift wedding the weekend of July 4.\u201d NYPD officers also told Variety they were \u201cbriefed about a potential influx of Taylor Swift fans, paparazzi and onlookers\u201d surrounding the venue on July 3. The Times also reported that a permit was filed in the city for the streets surrounding the venue to be closed between July 2 to midday July 4, affecting traffic during the Fourth of July long weekend.<\/p>\n
The pair, who met in 2023, announced their engagement last August via their social media accounts, where Swift quipped \u201cyour English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.\u201d<\/p>\n
Swift revealed that she first took interest in the Kansas City Chiefs player when he \u201cadorably\u201d mentioned her on his podcast, New Heights. \u201cI thought was metal as hell,\u201d she told Time in a rare interview in 2023. \u201cWe started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I\u2019m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.\u201d<\/p>\n
