Craig addressed the change at the top of the show\u2019s first hour, saying that Savannah was \u201cenjoying some time off.\u201d<\/p>\n

While he didn\u2019t reveal how long Savannah would be out of the studio, he hinted that it could be the entire week.<\/p>\n
Craig told Kristen she could \u201ctake in some tennis\u201d while she\u2019s in town, since the US Open kicked off on Sunday at the nearby Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.<\/p>\n

Qualifying and Fan Week extend through August 29, followed by the tennis tournament\u2019s first round on August 30.<\/p>\n
The tournament concludes on September 13.<\/p>\n
Kristen also shared an\u00a0Instagram\u00a0post, seemingly teasing she would be sticking around Studio 1A for a bit.<\/p>\n

Savannah has yet to reveal her whereabouts on social media or how long she\u2019ll be away.<\/p>\n
The TV star\u00a0has taken multiple breaks\u00a0in recent weeks for her new NBC game show,\u00a0Wordle, which she hosts.<\/p>\n
She jetted off to the West Coast in mid-July for filming and was gone for several weeks.<\/p>\n

The 84-year-old was suspected of being abducted in the middle of the night at her Tucson, Arizona, home on February 1 and hasn\u2019t been seen since.<\/p>\n
Multiple ransom notes\u00a0sent to news outlets and the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Office have since been unearthed, but there are still no leads on her whereabouts.<\/p>\n
In the latest notes, the alleged captors apologized and claimed that Nancy died of natural causes.<\/p>\n
Savannah\u2019s mother was reportedly on life-saving medication that she couldn\u2019t go without.<\/p>\n
Earlier this month, Savannah shared an emotional message on Instagram, pleading for someone to come forward about the ransom notes.<\/p>\n
The investigation is ongoing and, so far, no arrests have been made.<\/p>\n
