Brittany Mahomes has stripped down to her bikini to front the latest NFL WAG-themed edition of\u00a0Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Mahomes has become a regular cover star for the magazine in recent years, rising in popularity alongside her husband\u2019s Super Bowl-winning fame with the\u00a0Kansas\u00a0City Chiefs.<\/p>\n

But this time she has been joined by a host of other NFL stars\u2019 partners, including Jared Goff\u2019s wife Christen and popstar\u00a0Normani, fiancee of Steelers star DK Metcalf.<\/p>\n

Former college basketball sensation Haley Cavinder \u2013 girlfriend of Dallas\u2019 Jake Ferguson \u2013 dons a cowboy hat for her own cover appearance, while George Kittle\u2019s wife Claire stuns in a tiny red bikini.<\/p>\n

Completing the line-up is Ronika Love, wife of Packers quarterback Jordan, who shows off her baby bump in an intimate beach shoot.<\/p>\n

All six of the incredible covers were captured recently by Katherine Goguen in Captiva Island,\u00a0Florida, and have been released as February\u2019s digital issue.<\/p>\n

The idea behind the groundbreaking cover is to show off the women as more than the outdated \u2018wives and girlfriends\u2019 label, highlighting their own status as \u2018entrepreneurs, athletes, creatives, activists, tastemakers and powerhouses\u2019.<\/p>\n

Each of the cover stars took part in an interview to dive deeper into their talents, too, with Mahomes opening up on her desire to \u2018get more excitement around the NWSL\u2019.<\/p>\n

She is a founding co-owner of the Kansas City Current alongside her husband Patrick and is a former soccer player herself.<\/p>\n

Metcalf\u2019s partner Normani \u2013 full name\u00a0Normani Kordei Hamilton \u2013 was part of one of the best-selling girl groups of all-time, Fifth Harmony, before going it alone.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As a solo artist, she has won nearly 50 awards and in her SI interview stated: \u2018I feel more creative than ever.<\/p>\n

\u2018I feel more motivated and inspired than ever. I\u2019ve been going through so many major life transitions\u2026 I\u2019m just enjoying the journey and the process in those transitions.\u2019<\/p>\n

Claire Kittle, meanwhile, spoke about leveling her husband\u2019s previous achievement, after he featured as a cover star of Sports Illustrated while he was still a college football player.<\/p>\n

\u2018Now, I get to have one too,\u2019 she said, alongside the images of her writhing around on the beach in a red Fae bikini.<\/p>\n

Jordan Love\u2019s wife Ronika is a sports star in her own right, playing professional volleyball for the University of Oregon and then the San Diego Pro team.<\/p>\n

In her interview, she opened up on being labeled a WAG, revealing: \u2018It was hard for me to never be referred to as an athlete myself.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m super competitive, so for people to call me [a WAG], I\u2019m like, \u201cOh, like, he is a husband and boyfriend\u201d as well. He\u2019s a HAB.\u2019<\/p>\n

In the shoot, Love shows off her baby bump while wearing a Capri Swin bikini on the sand at Captiva Island.<\/p>\n

Christen Goff is no stranger to Sports Illustrated having previously shot a cover, but this is her first time since having given birth to her and Jared\u2019s daughter Romy.<\/p>\n

\u2018This has been such a transformative year for me. Being pregnant and becoming a mother, I think I have such a newfound confidence,\u2019 she told the magazine.<\/p>\n

Finally, March Madness star Haley Cavinder spoke about her own career, noting: \u2018No matter what, basketball always taught me you have to show up, whether it\u2019s a good day or a bad day\u2026no matter [what] feelings [are] involved, [to] just do the work.\u2019<\/p>\n

In the shoot, she wore various bikinis from Same and Lybethras Swimwear.<\/p>\n

The February NFL WAGs edition coincides with this weekend\u2019s Super Bowl, in which the New England Patriots will take on the Seattle Seahawks in Santa Clara.<\/p>\n
