But the U.S. Ski Team said she would be fine and was being evaluated.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cShe\u2019ll be OK, but it\u2019s going to be a bit of a process,\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>chief of sport for U.S. Ski and Snowboard, Anouk Patty, said, per the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/lindsey-vonn-milan-cortina-olympics-90b10c0a145053f3bbfb573c4024653a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AP<\/a>.<strong><em>\u201cThis sport\u2019s brutal and people need to remember when they\u2019re watching (that) these athletes are throwing themselves down a mountain and going really, really fast.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vonn entered the Olympics as the leader in the World Cup downhill standings.
