She was 61. According to\u00a0<em>TMZ<\/em>, she was discovered dead at her Los Angeles home on Wednesday, March 5, in what appears to be a suicide. Family members, who had not heard from her, went to check on her and found her with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to\u00a0<em>PEOPLE<\/em>, a representative for David Hasselhoff said<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff.
