The Seattle Seahawks may have handled business on the field, beating the New England Patriots 29\u201313 at Levi\u2019s Stadium, but off the field, a very different showdown was unfolding.<\/p>\n

\nThis Super Bowl Sunday, America didn\u2019t get one halftime show, it got two.<\/p>\n

While the NFL\u2019s official halftime spotlight went to global sensation Bad Bunny, millions of viewers switched over to Turning Point USA\u2019s rival \u201cAll-American Halftime Show\u201d.<\/p>\n

Kid Rock, 55, closed out the conservative-backed livestream after performances from Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. The event was billed as a cultural alternative to the NFL\u2019s mainstage spectacle.<\/p>\n

But within seconds of taking the stage, viewers began pointing out the same issue.<\/p>\n

Many accused the rocker of lip-syncing.<\/p>\n

\u201cNice lip syncing,\u201d one viewer wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid Kid Rock just badly lip sync through his song? Or was my stream messed up?\u201d another asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo was that a bad lip sync job by Kid Rock? Or was my stream messed up? Thank you for your attention to this matter,\u201d a third added.<\/p>\n

\u201dHe didn\u2019t do anything\u2026\u201d
\nOthers didn\u2019t hold back.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid Kid Rock do like a minute of lip sync and dip, LOL?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a minute of lip sync and then he dipped.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBruh, I thought I was gonna see Kid Rock come and slay. He didn\u2019t do anything but play his song and do a funny dance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a**. Kid Rock came out for 45 seconds to lip sync and drop the mic five times while he was still \u2018singing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Another viewer mocked the moment, writing: \u201cKid Rock showed up for one minute and lip-synced every third bar from the first verse of \u2018Bawitdaba\u2019 while tweaking in jorts and playing with his fedora, then it awkwardly cut to a classical performance.\u201d<\/p>\n

The criticism didn\u2019t stop there.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the show, old lyrics from his 2001 track \u201cCool, Daddy Cool\u201d resurfaced online, including the line: \u201cYoung ladies, young ladies, I like \u2019em underage. See, some say that\u2019s statutory. But I say it\u2019s mandatory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen comment
\nClips from a 2001 Saturday Night Live appearance also began circulating again, where he joked about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who were 14 at the time, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy is every guy in America waiting on these chicks to turn 18? \u2026 I mean \u2013 you know what I say \u2013 if there\u2019s grass on the field, play ball.\u201d<\/p>\n

The renewed attention fueled even more backlash.<\/p>\n

\u201cSO gross!\u201d one user wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a disgusting human being. It\u2019s no wonder the MAGA base loves him,\u201d another added.<\/p>\n

Still, not everyone was critical.<\/p>\n

\u201cKid Rock busted out \u2018Bawitdaba.\u2019 Unbelievable and totally awesome!\u201d one supporter posted.<\/p>\n

\u201cTPUSA halftime performance was worth it. History was made tonight, my friends. Love you, Charlie,\u201d another wrote.<\/p>\n
