NBC\u2019s Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie\u2019s mom, Nancy Guthrie, has been reported missing from her home in Arizona. She was last seen in the Catalina Foothills on Saturday, January 31. Savannah decided not to do Monday\u2019s show, and now, she has spoken out about her mother\u2019s disappearance.<\/p>\n

Savannah Guthrie\u2019s mom, Nancy Guthrie, 84, is missing. She was last seen in the Catalina Foothills on Saturday January 31 in the Catalina Foothills. Her last Facebook post was on January 27.<\/p>\n

In a press conference on Sunday, Feb. 1, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos shared details about the case.
\nHe explained that search and rescue teams have been searching on the ground and in the air. He also confirmed that a homicide team had been brought in to aid in the investigation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re pretty much just throwing everything at this that we can. Guthrie is 84 years old and is not of good physical health, and so naturally that\u2019s a great concern,\u201d Chris Nanos said. \u201cThis is very concerning to us. We don\u2019t typically get the sheriff out at a scene like this. But it\u2019s very concerning what we\u2019re learning from the house,\u201d he continued, adding, \u201cAnd so we\u2019ll just continue. The detective\u2019s homicide team is out right now looking at the scene as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
