The\u00a0\u00a0City Chiefs are on a bye week. But tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/a><\/span>\u00a0doesn\u2019t have any plans to relax or take that time off for himself.<\/p>\n

Kelce, 36, and the Chiefs are strong, but not as dominant as they may be used to in an NFL season which has been more topsy-turvy than expected back in August.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs are a prime example. After losing the first two games of the season, Kansas City has gone 5-2 ever since \u2013 with losses on the road to the\u00a0Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and, last Sunday, the\u00a0Buffalo Bills<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

On the latest episode of the \u2018New Heights\u2019 podcast, his brother\u00a0Jason Kelce<\/a><\/span>\u00a0prodded to find out what Travis\u2019 plans were for his week of time off the big stage.<\/p>\n

But Travis fired back: \u2018I\u2019m thinking about how the f*** are we gonna beat the\u00a0Denver Broncos<\/a><\/span>? That\u2019s gonna be on my mind for the next two weeks.\u2019<\/p>\n

Jason persisted, trying to find out if Travis had anything set up to rest before a tough final stretch of the season \u2013 beginning with the matchup against Denver on November 16.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs are coming off a frustrating loss last Sunday to the Buffalo Bills<\/p>\n

\u2018Well, for the next week, at least, take your mind a little bit elsewhere,\u2019 Jason urged him.<\/p>\n

\u2018What are you doing, anything fun? You\u2019re gonna get into travel? What are you doing here? What are you doing over the week? Tell us about your personal life.\u2019<\/p>\n

But Travis was having none of it, ending that conversation by saying, \u2018No. No chance.\u2019<\/p>\n

Jason tried laughing off the awkward moment before quipping, \u2018See you guys!\u2019 in a fake attempt to end the episode. Travis dropped the mask for a moment and laughed.<\/p>\n

While Travis has been in the news more recently due to his engagement to Taylor Swift, the Chiefs have been at the center of attention as well for their inability to find a third gear.<\/p>\n

\u2018I can\u2019t say that I\u2019m not frustrated, more from the entire start of the season than just this Bills game. I mean, there\u2019s games that I don\u2019t think we had any business losing,\u2019 Travis said.<\/p>\n

He added, \u2018I feel like we didn\u2019t come out with our best punch against Buffalo. And yeah, we gotta find a way to clean all that up, man. We gotta get back to playing passionate Chiefs football, dying for each other out there on the field, man.\u2019<\/p>\n
