A number of urgent food and product recalls<\/a> have been issued by retailers this week, with customers told to stop using the items<\/a>. The Food Standards Agency has issued notices for 42 cakes and breads due to rodent contamination.<\/p>\n

Anyone with the products has been urged not to eat them and to return them to the store from which they were purchased. Meanwhile, Aldi<\/a> and Tesco<\/a> have also issued recall notices over salmon and a dessert.<\/p>\n

A wide range of cakes and biscuits from Saffron Pastries have been urgently recalled due to a rodent contamination. <\/a>Some of the products have best-before dates of 2027.<\/p>\n

The FSA said: “If you have bought the products, do not eat them. Instead, return them to where you bought them from for a full refund. For more information email info@saffronpastries.com or call 01274 726101.”<\/p>\n
