The rally, called \u201cBuild the Red Wall,\u201d is part of Turning Point\u2019s strategy to bolster Republican support in the so-called Red Wall states of Arizona and Nevada. These states voted for Trump in the 2024 election, despite being won by President Biden in the 2020 election.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you want a poor and weak America, a country that is riddled with crime, death, disease, and nothing but problems, you should vote Democrat. If you want a rich and strong country that you\u2019re going to be proud of, you must go out in the midterms and vote Republican,\u201d Trump said at the Friday evening rally in Phoenix, per the Washington Times. \u201cWe need that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump expressed his concerns about the political reality that the party in the White House usually loses seats in Congress due to voters\u2019 ongoing dissatisfaction. He highlighted his achievements and remarked that he doesn\u2019t understand why anyone would choose to vote for Democrats given his record.<\/p>\n

Turning Point was established to engage young voters and attract them to Republican candidates. After Kirk\u2019s assassination last September, his wife, Erica Kirk, became the CEO and chair of Turning Point USA. She spoke at the event to introduce Trump.<\/p>\n
