It seems like every day, someone with a large platform gives their opinions on Algerian boxer Imane Khelif and the transgender rumors that surround her. Riley Gaines has been one of the most vocal and had a crazy reaction to Khelif winning a gold medal in a string of tweets.

BREAKING: Imane Khelif (XY) dominated World Champion Lang Liu (XX) to win an Olympic gold medal,” she wrote. “Let me repeat that: a MALE has taken a WOMAN’S Olympic gold. This is what they call this “progress.” It’s the ultimate betrayal of fairness, safety, and women by @iocmedia.

It used to be called domestic violence when a man would punch a woman in the face with the intent of knocking her unconscious,” Gaines continued. “Now, we call these same men Olympic champions & award them a shiny gold medal.”

Ask yourself what this is teaching the next generation,” she wrote in another tweet. “It’s teaching boys it’s okay (actually, it’s encouraged & rewarded) to beat up on women. It’s teaching girls to ignore their instincts, take the abuse with a smile on their face, & don’t dare question it…or else.

Of course, Gaines is one of the many who wanted Khelif disqualified from the Olympics when it wad discovered she has XY chromosomes similar to a many rather than XX.

However, the International Olympic Committee backed Khelif and allowed her participation, claiming there was no truth to the transgender rumors.

Riley Gaines Continues Mission To Remove Transgender Women From Sports

Gaines was one of the most outspoken voices when transgender woman Lia Thomas started competing in women’s NCAA events.

In 2024, Gaines helped file a lawsuit against the NCAA, claiming it violated the rights of female athletes by allowing Thomas to compete at the 2022 championships.

As of now, the lawsuit is still ongoing and has not yet reached a conclusion.
