Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com noted Tracy was carted off with his leg in an air cast after going down on a kickoff.

The Athletic’s Dan Duggan reported that Tyrone Tracy Jr. initially muffed the kickoff, but his right leg appeared to buckle when he bent over to pick up the ball.
Just an unfortunate series of events may lead to him missing his entire rookie campaign.
Tyrone Tracy Jr. Had a Standout Career In College For two Different Programs
During his career at Iowa and Purdue, Tyrone Tracy Jr. bounced around between receiver and running back.
He believes his switch to running back is what got him selected in the 2024 NFL Draft by the New York Giants.
Tracy proved to be one of the more versatile offensive athletes in the Big Ten over the course of his career. According to Sports Reference, he ended his career with 1,201 receiving yards, 947 rushing yards, and 16 total touchdowns.
The 2023 season saw Tracy at his most effective as a running back. He would finish that year with 716 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground.
Tyrone Tracy Jr. further showed his versatility by adding 132 receiving yards and fielding 16 kickoffs for 408 yards and a touchdown.
Aside from being a wide receiver and running back, Tracy was one of the best special teams players in the nation, ranking 16th in FBS in yards per kickoff return (25.5) among players with at least 16 returns.
