The Entire Internet Is Tripping Out Over Drake Maye’s Viral ‘Leaked’ Private Snapchat DMs To Alleged Mystery Woman [PHOTOS]

Well, what do we have here?

Drake Maye is less than a week away from playing in the most important game of his NFL career.

He has a lot of things working against him. An X user has pointed out that starting QBs with names like Maye’s haven’t had any success in the Super Bowl. Not a single one with fewer than 5 letters has won a Super Bowl.

Fighting against history is one thing, but now he has to fight against fake news. Social media has the Patriots quarterback going viral after some Snapchat messages of him on X surfaced. They showed several pictures of Drake Maye making funny faces, with messages over them.

The first message said, “If I was, I’d be with you. I’m back home on vacay.” The second post said, “Haha, didn’t mean to, you look good.” The final post featured Maye in a hoodie, and the message overlay read “Just got back to city.”

Fortunately for Drake Maye, neither of these messages is real.

With the rise of AI, it has become harder and harder to tell what is real or fake. Now, Drake Maye is finding out how easy it is to fool people.

Some Snapchat messages about him allegedly cheating on his girlfriend went viral on X. Fortunately for him, they were clearly fake. Unfortunately for the Patriots quarterback, not everybody realized that.

“Wow, what an unfaithful piece of sh-t,” one fan said.

“Seahawks by 40,” a second fan wrote.

“Bro, is this real?!?!?” a third fan asked.

“That face he’s making, bro,” a fourth fan pointed out of Drake Maye.

“Bench him at the Super Bowl just for this, lol,” one final fan added.

Fernando Mendoza and Curt Cignetti are well aware of what happens when fake messages about them appear.

Drake Maye has more pressing things to worry about than fake messages. He is dealing with an injured shoulder. The third-year QB was not seen at the start of practice this past Friday. Maye was also limited on Thursday and would not have practiced had the team held a session on Wednesday.

The Boston Herald reported that backup QB Joshua Dobbs and third-stringer Tommy DeVito were the only ones seen in practice.

Despite the setback, Maye is expected to be healthy enough to play in Super Bowl 60.
