NFL fans are saying the same thing about Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his ice-cold arrival at Arrowhead Stadium for the team’s season opener.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will kick off their bid for a three-peat against reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens tonight. This game is also a rematch of last year’s AFC title game, which Kansas City won 17-10.
Three hours before kickoff, the official NFL X/Twitter account posted a video of Mahomes arriving a Arrowhead Stadium with the utmost poise and swagger:

Mahomes is 4-1 in his career against the Ravens, including 2-0 at Arrowhead Stadium. He got the better of Jackson and company in Week 14 of the 2018 season, Week 3 of 2019 and Week 3 in 2020.
Jackson and the Ravens finally solved the Chiefs with a 36-35 home win on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 2 of the 2021 season. The two teams wouldn’t meet again for another 28 months until the AFC Championship Game in January, which Kansas City won en route to a Super Bowl 58 championship.
Including the AFC title game, the 28-year-old Mahomes has 13 touchdowns and just two interceptions in his five career games against Baltimore.
Patrick Mahomes & Chiefs Eye First NFL Three-Peat
No team in NFL history has won three straight Super Bowl championships, and only a trio of teams have played in the big game three years in a row: The 1971-73 Miami Dolphins, the 1990-93 Buffalo Bills and the 2016-18 New England Patriots.
The Chiefs have played in four of the last five Super Bowls, as well as six straight AFC Championship Games. If there’s one team that can complete the first three-peat in league history, it’s Patrick Mahomes and his Chiefs.
