Coming off last season’s Super Bowl win, the Chiefs have seen their first two wins come down to officiating decisions, so the next picture showing Patrick Mahomes and a ref will not help the narrative that they receive help.
Just before the Kansas City Chiefs played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, a photo emerged showing Patrick Mahomes having a casual conversation with a ref.

It’s safe to say that non-fans of the Chiefs were not thrilled with this development:

In Week 2, the Kansas City Chiefs won another game over a conference rival, but the victory was controversial.
With an opportunity to lead a game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter, Kansas City found itself facing a fourth-and-16 with less than a minute remaining on the clock.
Mahomes threw a pass to wideout Rashee Rice that was incomplete, but a yellow flag flew, keeping the possession alive.
The rest is history as kicker Harrison Butker nailed a field goal from 50-plus yards out as time expired.
Patrick Mahomes hasn’t quite been himself early in this NFL this season.
Mahomes has 442 total passing yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions so far this season.
He will look to return to form tonight.
