VIDEO: NFL Fans Are Destroying Travis Kelce After Embarrassing Unseen Footage Surfaces From Chiefs-Falcons Game

Travis Kelce looks on after a Patrick Mahomes INT vs the Falcons.

On Sunday night, the Kansas City Chiefs barely held on for a win against the Atlanta Falcons. The Chiefs’ offense made many questionable plays that felt uncharacteristic. However, probably the worst play involved a premature celebration from Travis Kelce during an interception.

While Kansas City was on the Falcons’ 15-yard line, Mahomes lined up in shotgun before dropping back and throwing a ball intended for tight end Noah Gray in the end zone.

Once the ball is in the air, you see Kelce at the bottom of the screen with his back to the ball, raising an arm in the air, completely expecting to be getting ready for a touchdown.

Of course, though, the ball fell into Justin Simmons’s hands, making Kelce’s celebration look very silly.

Once the clip was posted on social media, everyone started roasting Kelce and his premature celebration.

This makes me unbelievably happy lol,” said one comment.

I need someone to always believe in me the way Travis believes in Pat,” said another.

“Couldnt happen to a more deserving pair,” continued a third.

“Dude is such a tool it’s unbearable,” added a fourth.

Of course, for Kelce, this likely isn’t the first time he’s celebrated a Mahomes throw while the ball is in the air, but it’s certainly the first time it’s backfired this much.

Travis Kelce Addresses His Slow Start To The Season

Through three games, Kelce has recorded just eight receptions for 68 yards and zero touchdowns. That’s definitely his worst start to a season, and he knows it.

“Whatever it is, it’s football, baby. Come on now,” Kelce said on the latest episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce. “I’m not getting caught up in getting the targets and all that. I just want to have a successful offense. I think Pat’s doing a great job of finding the open guy and making the right decisions right now. We just have to keep finding… It’s a new offense, new players, new pieces, and we’re just finding how to have success throughout the season.”
