The Detroit Lions obliterated the Dallas Cowboys in their Week 6 fixture on Sunday; then they added insult to injury.
With victory sealed nearing the end of the fourth quarter, the Lions had offensive lineman Dan Skipper line up as a wide receiver and actually tried to get him some yards.
Talk about disrespect…
To make matters worse, Skipper was open enough to make a catch.
Check it out in the video below:
The score is 47-9. The #Lions are now sending OT Dan Skipper out wide and making him run a route (wait for the replay, it's even better).

Fans Totally Caught On To What The Detroit Lions Were Doing
The Lions’ sneaky play did not get past social media, with plenty of comments rolling in.
“You know it’s bad when the opponent is practicing plays usually reserved for the final 5 minutes of a practice at the beginning of the season,” someone wrote.
“He was open!” someone else pointed out.
“these dudes aint forgiving or forgetting,” said another.
One user didn’t find it funny, however.
“Campbell is a meathead,” they wrote. “Risking lineman for a gimmick play after you just lost a star… dumb AF. If they had a coach that didn’t act like he was coaching a high school team, I’d feel better about their chances at this rate he will do something stupid like go for it on fourth down instead of taking the points like he did last year and blow the game.”
