Tua Tagovailoa has been on the road to recovery since suffering his third confirmed concussion

The Miami Dolphins placed him on injured reserve following the concussion during a Thursday night loss to the Buffalo Bills last month.

Studies have shown that NFL players, particularly those who have experienced multiple concussions like Tua Tagovailoa, may be at higher risk for various neurological issues later in life.

Despite many calling for him to retire, the young QB wants to continue his career.

On Monday, it was revealed that Tua is expected to resume playing during the 2024 NFL season.

However, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel made it clear that he will not be playing this week when the team travels to Indianapolis to play the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Needless to say, fans are worried about the thought of Tua returning to the field and possibly risking his long-term health.

The Dolphins are 2-3 and tied for second in the AFC East.

Miami Dolphins Have Had A Terrible Offense Since The Departure of Tua Tagovailoa

Tua Tagovailoa could be back for Miami soon — a welcome sight for a team that has struggled offensively with four quarterbacks this season.

The Dolphins have sputtered since Tagovailoa was concussed in Week 2 against Buffalo and placed on injured reserve.

While he is on his way back, he won’t be eligible to return until Week 8.

Miami’s struggles have been evident without him, as the team has an inconsistent run game and a lack of production by its offensive stars

After leading the NFL total in offense last season, the Dolphins are 21st through six weeks and have scored a league-worst 12 points per game.

Tyreek Hill would love to see Tua Tagovailoa back in the fold, as his production has fallen off a cliff without him.

Since putting up 130 receiving yards in Week One, Tyreek has a total of 136 yards over the next four games and zero touchdowns.
