Jerry Jones buried the hatchet following last week’s radio interview, during which he threatened to have the hosts fired
When Cowboys owner Jerry Jones returned to the 105.3 The Fan airwaves in Dallas Tuesday morning, he wasn’t exactly apologetic as he said, “I don’t have anything to say about last week,” he responded when asked about the controversy at the top of the segment. “I’m surprised that last week got the attention it got.”
Despite what he said, Jerry Jones spoke on the matter for several minutes, stating he’s used to taking tough questions and that the weekly radio interviews are “really a privilege” to get an inside look at the team.
“It’s kind of like pillow talk,” Jones said. “You get some inside stuff.”
“I’m tickled to death we have as much interest in this as we do. Guys, you know that, as matter of fact you’ve said that, I have no issue with getting up in front of a bunch of media.”

rry Jones then compared the interviews to conversations he might have with his wife, Gene.
“I will you tell you [it’s] the same kind of question is my wife might ask me, of 60-something years,” Jones said per WFAA. “Why did you do that? I don’t know. The devil made me do it.”
“The point is, those kind of questions are pointedly toward putting you on a spot to make a certain kind of answer … I’ve been asked that Derrick Henry question every day since training camp. That’s a get-in-your-ass type of question.”
Jerry Jones Goes Viral Threatening To Take Jobs Over Hard Questions
Last week, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones completely lost his mind when he became enraged after he was questioned about why he did not make many moves in the offseason that would have avoided the team’s current situation
During his regular chat with Shan & RJ on Audacy’s 105.3 The Fan, Jones threatened to do interviews elsewhere, telling his hosts: ‘Your job isn’t to let me go over all the reasons that I did something… I’ll get somebody else to ask these questions. I’m not kidding.’
His anger stemmed from the Dallas Cowboys’ latest defeat.
On Jones’ 82nd birthday Sunday, the Cowboys were served a large piece of humble pie as they were decimated by the Lions, 47-9.
He described the worst home defeat the Cowboys have suffered since he bought the franchise in 1989 as “humbling” and “very concerning.”
Despite going 12-5 in each of the last three seasons, the Cowboys have not advanced beyond the divisional round since their last Super Bowl victory in 1995.
