College football is one of the most fun sports to watch; some would consider it one of the most fun to comment on. Those who have the job get to call the games of the next generation of NFL stars, and one of those next stars, Luke Niggemann, who plays for the Pittsburgh State Gorillas, is getting a hilarious treatment.
The Gorillas compete in NCAA Division II and currently have a record of 6-1, earning them second in the division. However, their solid play is going nowhere near as viral as fullback Luke Niggemann.
Niggemann has been with the Pittsburgh State Gorillas since the beginning of this NCAA season and has some solid stats with the squad. In seven games, he’s run for 75 yards on 15 carries, all while earning 4 touchdowns.
Niggeman isn’t going viral for his play. He is going viral for his exciting name, and fans on X have pointed out that the name is a “broadcaster’s worst nightmare” for a clear reason.

One college football fan claimed that he would not risk his career just to try to get the player’s name right, commenting, “I’d just call him Luke N, not risking my career,” which is definitely an interesting choice.
