Stefon Diggs suffered a non-contact injury in the Houston Texans’ win over the Colts on Sunday, and his chances of returning in 2024 are slim.
The Houston Texans receiver headed to the locker room after seeming to injure his knee on a non-contact play vs. the Indianapolis Colts.
He may have walked off, but he was certainly not okay.
Stefon Diggs attempted to cut inside on a route during a Stroud dropback, and just after he turned, the four-time Pro Bowl selection bent down and grabbed his right knee.
It did not look for good.

Now, two popular social media doctors are giving their expert opinions on the Texans wide receiver and his future status.
Dr. Jesse Morse stated that the “Best case scenario would be a bone bruise, possible LCL sprain, but we obviously have to be worried about an ACL tear anytime there is a non-contact injury.”’

Jeff Mueller stated, “Primary concern for ACL injury. Hopefully he got lucky and it’s just meniscus, but by initial video is doesn’t look good.”
Stefon Diggs –
Hard to truly tell from this angle, but it looks like his Right knee buckles inward as he steps right near the 40.

Losing Stefon Diggs Means His Time In Houston Is Likely Over
The Houston Texans restructured wide receiver Stefon Diggs’ contract shortly after acquiring him in a trade, making it a one-year, $22.52 million deal.
It was always expected that he would be a one-year rental.
His restructured deal meant Diggs would become a free agent during the 2025 NFL offseason at age 31.
Now that he may have suffered a possible season-ending injury, it appears his time with the team is over.
If so, Stefon Diggs ends his year with 47 receptions for 496 yards and three touchdowns on the year.
