NFL Films’ cameras caught Jayden Daniels’ epic three-word message after throwing a walk-off Hail Mary touchdown to Noah Brown to stun the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
The Washington Commanders appeared to be finished when Bears running back Roschon Johnson scored the go-ahead touchdown with 23 seconds remaining. Washington had just one timeout, but that proved to be no problem for Jayden Daniels.
On the game’s final play, the rookie sensation danced around Bears defenders and bought himself some time before launching a last-second heave to the end zone. The ball was tipped into the waiting arms of a wide-open Brown, who was left uncovered to secure the game-winning score:

The good folks at NFL Films perfectly captured Jayden Daniels’ immediate reaction following the jaw-dropping highlight reel. After celebrating with teammates and coaches, Daniels screamed, “I’m like that.”

Yes, you are, Jayden. Yes, you are.
Daniels essentially has Offensive Rookie of the Year honors locked up. The 2023 Heisman Trophy winner has completed 71.8 percent of pass attempts for 1,736 yards, seven touchdowns, two interceptions to go along with 424 rushing yards and four rushing scores.
He also has Washington atop the NFC East with a 6-2 record. Even if they can’t hold off the Philadelphia Eagles (5-2) for the division crown, the Commanders look like a safe bet to at least get in as a wild card team.
Jayden Daniels & Commanders Have Been NFL’s Biggest Surprise Thus Far
Expectations were awfully low for the Commanders, who brought in a new GM (Adam Peters) and head coach (Dan Quinn) before using the No. 2 pick on Daniels. Almost nobody thought they could compete in a division that’s been dominated by the Eagles and Dallas Cowboys for the past decade, but here we are.
There’s still plenty of work ahead, but the Commanders have exceeded expectations thus far and are finally on a path to long-term success. How quickly things have changed for the better without Dan Snyder.
