Kamala Harris worked hard to ensure her election as the first woman in the White House, but in the end, Donald Trump and the Republicans went on an all-out blitz to win just about everything on Tuesday.

Harris lost her bid to become America’s first woman leader, as her Republican rival Donald Trump surged to a decisive victory in the US presidential election as he received 277 electoral college votes.

Many took to social media to comment about what happened, and of course, many sports fans had to give their two cents.

One fan posted a picture of Kamala Harris rocking a San Francisco 49ers jacket, because she is a fan of the team.

They also posted a bunch of scores from the 49ers where they squandered away leads to lose big games.

Kamala Harris Yet to Concede To Donald Trump After Presidential Election

Republican Party candidate Donald Trump defeated Democratic Party contender—and incumbent Vice President—Kamala Harris in the US presidential election as he received 277 electoral college votes.

In order to win, a candidate must garner at least 270 electoral college votes.

In the hours since his victory, Kamala Harris has been suspiciously quiet. As Trump started to look like the winner, Harris canceled her expected election night appearance at Howard University, where she studied as an undergraduate.

The vice president has yet to speak or concede, but that will change this week.

Kamala Harris is expected to address the nation at 4 p.m. ET at Howard University, her alma mater. One of her election aides stated she is working on her speech to concede.

President Joe Biden also plans to call Trump on Wednesday and speak publicly about the election results.
