Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke in length about the team’s first loss of the season and what happened to tight end Travis Kelce.
The Buffalo Bills made Kelce a non-factor in their Week 11 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
After a slow start to the season, Kelce had seemingly found himself over the past three games, hauling in 32 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns during that stretch.
However, on Sunday, he was invisible out there against the Buffalo Bills.
To make matters worse, DeAndre Hopkins had just three catches for 29 yards.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid discussed the other pass catchers on the team, noting that the team is much more than Travis Kelce and Deandre Hopkins.
“They bracketed (Kelce) up in certain situations,” Reid said via Sports Radio 810 WHB. “DeAndre, they tried to do it in certain situations, but again, we can work through that part. They’re not the only two on the field, so the other guys have opportunities when that happens
Travis Kelce and DeAndre Hopkins were held to under a combined 40 yards yesterday.

Kansas City Chiefs Need Travis Kelce To be The Beast They Are Accustomed To Seeing
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been different in 2024.
In last year’s divisional playoff game won by the Chiefs, Kelce was a huge factor, catching five passes for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
On Sunday, he had two catches for eight yards.
Yes, the Chiefs are 9-1, but the team looks beatable. To ensure another Super Bowl run, the team needs Travis Kelce to morph back into the monster he used to be in years past.
