They say all good things eventually will end, and the same will remain true when ESPN brings a close to one of its longest-running shows.
The worldwide leader in sports will reportedly cancel the iconic show “Around the Horn” in the summer of 2025 and replace it with a new program.
Several sources told the New York Post’s Ryan Glasspiegel in the summer of this year that the show was going away, but now, months later, it is officially being confirmed.
There was no reason for the end, and the network decided not to comment.

ESPN launched “Around the Horn” in 2002. When it first began, Max Kellerman hosted it.
The premise of the show was quite simple, as the daily show featured a rotating cast arguing about the topics of the day and a scoring system that was never explained.
Max Kellerman originally hosted it with Tony Reali taking over in 2004
The popular ESPN show pitted sportswriters from across the country against each other for the right to get to the final segment and be able to say what they wanted before the show ended.

“Around the horn-PTI combo was amazing in 2006. Haven’t watched in years but a lot of talent came out of Around The Horn,” one fan added about the end of the show.
‘Sad to see this. Always enjoyed watching Around the Horn,” one fan added.
