Jaguars wide receiver Gabe Davis’ season is clearly over.
The Jacksonville Jaguars season has already been over for some time.
With 2:56 remaining in the third quarter in the team’s blowout loss to the Detroit Lions last month, Gabe Davis went down with a knee injury.
No one had a clue at the time that he wouldn’t be back on the field again until 2025.
The Jaguars were losing 42-6 to the Lions at the time of his injury.
It would then be announced that Davis would miss the remainder of the season with a torn meniscus in his left knee
Fast forward to mid-December, and the standout Jaguars wide receiver is now showing off his knee after completing surgery.
Prayers up: #Jaguars receiver Gabe Davis posted a video of his knee, which was just operated on for his torn meniscus.
Davis has a very long road of recovery ahead of him.

After signing a three-year, $39 million contract in March, Gabe Davis finished his first season in Jacksonville with 20 receptions for 239 yards and two touchdowns on 42 targets over his ten appearances.
He was part of the team’s efforts to rebuild the team’s receiving corps after the team released WR Zay Jones and allowed WR Calvin Ridley to sign with the Tennessee Titans in free agency.
Gabe Davis Has A Long Recovery Ahead of Him
The Jaguars placed Davis on injured reserve last month, effectively ending his year after he suffered a torn meniscus in a 52-6 loss to the Lions.
The recovery time for a torn meniscus depends on the severity of the tear, so Gabe Davis could be down for a few months as he recovers and goes through rehab.
In order for the Jaguars to get back on track, they will need a healthy Gabe Davis on the field, and that will start during the 2025 season.
