VIDEO: New Gruesome Slo-Mo Video Shows Close-Up Of Lions CB Khalil Dorsey’s Leg Snapping In Half, And It Does Not Look Good

Khalil Dorsey's injury

The Detroit Lions have had a rough day with injuries, and Khalil Dorsey’s was the worst one

After already losing cornerback Carlton Davis III to a concussion, the team would lose cornerback Khalil Dorsey not only for the game, but quite possibly for the season.

Dorsey collided with teammate and linebacker Ezekiel Turner and suffered what appeared to be a gruesome leg snap. The injury instantly warranted an air cast and a cart coming out to help the injured player.

The play continued, eventually ending in an incompletion, with Dorsey still on the ground, waving toward the sidelines for immediate help.

We are now seeing a gruesome slow-motion video of his devastating injury.

The whole Lions team and coaching staff came out onto the field as Khalil Dorsey was loaded onto the cart and taken into the field

Khalil Dorsey Was The Detroit Lions Best Gunner

The Detroit Lions lost cornerback Khalil Dorsey to an injury late in the second quarter Sunday against the Buffalo Bills at Ford Field in the biggest game in Week 15 of the 2024 NFL season.

The way his leg snapped leads you to believe that his season is over.

This is a huge loss as Dorsey, who joined the Lions during the 2023 offseason, has played in 13 games this season and is the Lions’ best gunner on special teams.

He previously started at cornerback for the Lions in a Thanksgiving Day win against the Chicago Bears and also made 13 appearances for the Lions last season.

“Dorsey I think is, if not the best, one of the best gunners in this League,” Lions coach Dan Campbell said earlier this season. “He’s always causing some type of disruption or a penalty.”

He was also a fill-in kick returner to help fill the void of Kalif Raymond’s absence.

He will be sorely missed.
