Philadelphia Eagles head of security Dom DiSandro, widely known as “Big Dom”, had to step in to stop a heated confrontation between Nick Sirianni, Clint Hurtt and Jalen Carter on the sidelines
Sirianni was furious with his star defensive tackle for taking an unnecessary roughness penalty during Sunday’s home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sirianni wanted to confront Carter, but Philly’s defensive line coach wouldn’t have any of it. And that’s where Big Dom had to step in again
This is CRAZY and only happens in #Philly …#Eagles HC Nick Sirianni was trying to talk to Jalen Carter about something and D-Line Coach Clint Hurt stopped him from doing so…hard to believe an 11-2 team leading by 14 in the 4th quarter, over a 10-3 #Steelers team, would have… pic.twitter.com/3nIiHpzfx8

What can we say? That’s what the Eagles pay Big Dom the big bucks for!
Here’s the penalty Carter took. As you can see, it was totally unnecessary:

At any rate, the Eagles cruised to a relatively easy 27-13 home win over their Pennsylvania state rivals. With the Detroit Lions also losing to the Buffalo Bills, Philly is now tied for the NFC’s best record at 12-2.
Big Dom Really Earned His Paycheck Today
Given Sirianni’s frequent and bizarre outbursts as Philly’s head coach, Big Dom finds himself in the headlines far more than any other NFL security team official. But Big Dom really earned the money today by breaking up a confrontation before it turned uglier, allowing the Eagles to stay focused en route to an easy home win.
