Everybody Was Saying The Same Thing After 12-Year-Old Blue Ivy Surprisingly Showed Up On Stage With Her Mother Beyoncé During Christmas Day Halftime Show

Blue Ivy joined her mom, Beyoncé, for the latter’s performance during the Christmas Day showdown between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens and nearly stole the show.

The 12-year-old appears to have taken after her mom, not only in terms of looks, as she showed off some impressive dance skills that left social media waxing lyrical.

Ivy, who comes from music royalty, with Jay-Z being her father, dressed in a white cowgirl outfit as her mother performed songs from her latest album “Cowboy Carter,” for the first time, rocking Akira boots, a Stetson hat, a diamond necklace, and a “Cowboy Carter” sash.

They both showed off buffalo-shaped belt buckles styled by Ukranian designer Frolov, who also designed the backup dancers’ outfits.

The appearance from the pre-teen sparked some conversation online.

“this angle of blue ivy shows how much she snapped!! then she started off the count 🥹,” a fan wrote as the caption to one of the many clips in circulation.

“me telling my family “that’s blue ivy” during beyonce’s performance,” another wrote.

“And then Blue Ivy is f**king it all the way up in the back. Like she’s on 150%,” a third added.

The performance wasn’t universally cheered, however, with some fans insisting Blue Ivy is being forced into the entertainment space.

“Stop trying to make Blue Ivy happen. We want talent. Not nepotism,” someone suggested.

Blue Ivy Is Beginning To Make A Name For Herself

Beyoncé was performing in her Houston hometown and earned lots of props as well. But she drew some detractors over her revealing outfit, with reports claiming parents turned off the Netflix stream when they noticed what she was wearing.

She also took some heat after performing a gun gesture with her fingers, the likes of which always get an NFL player flagged and fined.

Meanwhile, although there were several aspects to critique, the 12-year-old has continued to attract plaudits.

This wasn’t her first rodeo either, as she joined her mother for the Renaissance World Tour last year.

Beyoncé revealed she was initially against the idea.

“She told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no,” she explained in the concert documentary ‘Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé,’ which was part of a Netflix deal.

It doesn’t appear she has any issues with taking her kid to work now.
