Popular NFL Reporter’s Final Tweet Before His Sudden Death At Super Bowl 59 Will Break Your Heart

Adan Manzano of Telemundo Kansas City and Tico Sports has the sports world reeling, as his tragic death caught everyone by surprise.

Manzano, a reporter for Telemundo Kansas City, tragically died at the age of 27 while covering the Super Bowl on Wednesday.

His passing was announced by his employers, who released a statement that confirmed his tragic death and the police opening an investigation into his death.

Telemundo released a statement on Facebook, calling Adan Manzano “a true professional and a rising star.”

The final heartbreaking post of Manzano has emerged. The Mexico native posted photos from the Super Bowl’s opening night at the Superdome, where he was on duty interviewing the players.

Earlier this week, he shared a photo of Patrick Mahomes as media members surrounded him.

“Mahomes vs el Mundo,” Manzano wrote on X.

Aside from covering football, Adan Manzano was also a regular soccer reporter, covering Sporting Kansas City, and of Big 12 basketball and the Kansas Jayhawks.

Before his untimely death, he had already interviewed Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and other Chiefs players.

What makes this so tragic is that his death came less than a year after the death of his wife, Ashleigh Boyd, who was involved in a car accident.

She and Manzano shared a daughter, who was 15 months old at the time of Boyd’s death.

Police Have Opened An Investigation Into The Death of Adan Manzano

The Kansas City sports community is honoring the memory of Adan Manzano, a beloved sports anchor and reporter who died while on assignment covering the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

Steve Downing, KGKC Telemundo Kansas City General Manager, said Manzano was found dead in his hotel room.

He stated that the media outlet continues to cooperate with law enforcement officials as they investigate what happened.
