Country music star Lainey Wilson and former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Devlin Hodges are about to reach a significant milestone in their relationship
The 32-year-old superstar and the 28-year-old former NFL quarterback announced on Instagram on Wednesday night that they are engaged and planning to marry.

In the post, a picture shows the couple holding hands, and then there is a close-up of the scene of the couple lying in front of the door, surrounded by candles and roses
According to PEOPLE, Lainey Wilson and Devlin Hodges revealed their relationship in May 2023, but they had been keeping things a major secret since they had been dating since 2021.
This is even better news for Wilson since the country star is fresh off a performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards, during which she honored late music legend Quincy Jones
Hodges is best known known by his nickname “Duck.”
In his senior season in college, Hodges set a single-season record with 4,283 passing yards, breaking a record he set in 2016.
He went undrafted in 2019 and was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Devlin Hodges Didn’t Last Long In The NFL
Despite having a dream of a college career, Devlin Hodges wouldn’t be able to recreate it for very long in the National Football League.
Hodges appeared in eight games as a rookie and totaled 1,063 passing yards, five touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
He remained on the team’s practice squad in 2020 before a brief stint with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021.
There was a time where he was also playing in the Canadian Football League for the Ottawa Redblacks.
He retired from pro football in 2022.
