Married Couple Was Reportedly Forced To Sit Next To Dead Body During A 4-Hour International Flight On Qatar Airways

Qatar Airways is now the latest airline to have the entire world in shock over something happening in the air.

This time, it doesn’t involve an accident, but it might be just as bad.

A husband and wife are revealing that they were forced to sit next to a woman’s body for several hours after she suddenly dropped dead on a 15-hour flight.

Mitchell Ring and Jennifer Colin were on their way from Melbourne, Australia, to Doha, Qatar, when a female passenger suffered a medical emergency in the aisle on the Qatar Airways flight, “A Current Affair” reported.

“Unfortunately, the lady couldn’t be saved, which was pretty heartbreaking to watch,” Ring told A Current Affai. “They tried to wheel her up towards business class, but she was quite a large lady, and they couldn’t get her through the aisle.”

“They looked a bit frustrated, then they just looked at me and saw seats were available beside me, my wife was on the other side, and we were in a row of four,” he continued. “They said, ‘Can you move over please?’ and I just said, ‘Yes, no problem.’”

Qatar Airways said it apologized for “any inconvenience or distress this incident may have caused,” adding that it was in the process of contacting Mitchell Ring and Jennifer Colin.

The couple said they had not been contacted or offered support by Qatar or Qantas, the airline through which they booked the flight.

Qatar Airways Cabin Crew Tried To Move Deceased Woman

A married couple said they were forced to sit next to a dead woman’s body for four hours on a flight from Australia to Qatar.

About 10 hours into the flight, a woman who had just exited the restroom suddenly collapsed and died in front of Mitchell Ring and Jennifer Colin.

“They did everything they could, but unfortunately, the lady couldn’t be saved, which was pretty heartbreaking to watch,” Ring said.

Ring added that the Qatar Airways cabin crew tried to move her body towards business class, “but she was quite a large lady, and they couldn’t get her through the aisle.”

Ring said the flight crew then put the woman’s body in an empty seat next to the couple for the remaining four hours of the flight.
