Social media users hardly found the ‘Saturday Night Live’ skit depicting Donald Trump’s tense exchange with Volodymyr Zelenskyy funny.
The show mocked the recent confrontation between the aforementioned leaders during their newest episode, which isn’t so unexpected, as it’s what they do. However, the audience, at least the folks on social media, didn’t think it was fitting.

They reacted in kind in the comments after ‘SNL’ posted the segment mocking Donald Trump to Twitter/X, calling it disgusting and suggesting the show has grown out of touch
“This is disgusting, and you all should be ashamed of yourselves. Can we find out who is funding the Saturday night Live?” someone wrote in the comments.
“Mike Myers’s sounds British..how lame!” someone else commented.
“It is a strange thing to be satirical about. Surely this was quite an important and dramatic meeting. Incredibly awkward,” a user declared.
“SNL is out of touch with their audience, really sad, they used to be so funny,” another comment read.
Donald Trump’s Exchange With The Ukrainian Leader Did Not Seem Real

Donald Trump’s argument with the Ukrainian president did seem straight out of a sitcom, as it was unexpected and unprecedented. But these are the times we live in now – anything goes, even in the Oval Office.
Zelenskyy, who suggested the U.S. would feel differently when war comes knocking on their doorstep, has since apologized for his actions.
According to Trump, he is welcome back to the White House when he is ready for peace (with Russia, that is).
