Football fans had hilarious reactions to Travis Kelce’s new mustache.

Travis Kelce has had an adventurous offseason, featuring plenty of traveling to support girlfriend Taylor Swift on her tour, some golf and more timeless “New Heights” episode recordings with older brother Jason Kelce.

On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs’ X/Twitter account posted a photo of Kelce showing up to practice with the so-called “killa stache” look. Kelce usually grows a beard but decided to sport only the mustache ahead of training camp:

Kelce is coming off another excellent season that saw him catch 93 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns. Had he not missed two games, the future Hall of Famer would have certainly hit 1,000 yards receiving for the eighth straight year.

Travis Kelce was even more dangerous in the Chiefs’ four postseason games, compiling 32 receptions for 355 yards and three touchdowns. He had nine receptions for 93 yards in Kansas City’s Super Bowl 58 overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers.

The 34-year-old also broke Jerry Rice’s record for most career postseason receptions. Kelce is now up to 165, well ahead of Rice and the 151 catches he put up on his two-decade-long career.

Travis Kelce & Chiefs Open Season vs. Ravens

The Chiefs will try to make history as the first team in NFL history to complete a Super Bowl three-peat. Their quest to history will begin on Sept. 5, when Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens visit Arrowhead Stadium in the NFL Kickoff Game.

This game will be a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game, which Kansas City won 17-10 in Baltimore. Jackson is 1-4 against Kansas City in his career, so this game provides a golden opportunity for both AFC powerhouses to make an early-season statement.
