Reports of an impending arrest for Cleveland Browns rookie Michael Hall Jr. surfaced this Tuesday morning, with the Athletic’s Zac Jackson only able to disclose that the player was in hot water over a domestic dispute.
The former Ohio State star has been turning heads in the early stages of his career with the Browns, and much was expected of him. However, it appears that his professional metier could be in jeopardy as he has since been arrested on charges which are indeed disturbing.
Hall has been accused of assaulting his fiancee, pushing her, and hitting her with a baby bottle. That is according to her mother, who also claims he threw her belongings outside before putting a gun to her temple and threatening to “f***ing end it all.”
JPAFootball notes: “Disturbing: According to the incident report, the alleged victim says that #Browns rookie DT Mike Hall threw her belongings outside, dragged her along the porch and driveway and later put a gun to her temple, saying “I will f——ng end it all.”
It’s understood that their 11-month-old baby was at their residence at the time.
The first-year player has reportedly been charged with domestic violence and knowingly causing bodily harm.

Michael Hall Jr. Earmarked For Greatness, But Serious Consequences Could Follow His Arrest
Michael Hall Jr. is thought to have a bright future ahead of him. Drafted by the Browns in the second round, he’s drawn comparisons to Aaron Donald and is thought to be a player who could force his way into the starting lineup very soon.
The 21-year-old made 24 tackles and 1.5 sacks in his last season with the Buckeyes and has been tipped for stardom, though it appears his career could now be under threat given what he has been accused of.
