Colin Cowherd believes Packers are ‘smirking and laughing at the Jets’ after Aaron Rodgers missed mandatory minicamp
When Aaron Rodgers is involved, one can bet their cryptos that Colin Cowherd will have something to say. And the veteran analyst has been vocal about the New York Jets’ quarterback’s absence from the recent three-day minicamp.
Last week, Jets whistle-blower Connor Hughes reported that everyone except Aaron Rodgers and Haason Reddick were missing the mandatory minicamp. While Reddick claimed he was doing training on his own, there was no concrete news about the veteran shot-caller’s whereabouts.
After months of not having something to speak about the 40-year-old quarterback, FOX analyst Colin Cowherd finally had something that he grasped with both hands. In his view, Rodgers is free to do whatever he pleases because he believes that the Super Bowl winner is a narcissist and prefers himself over the team.
“This is absolute validation for what they [Packers] went through… They are just smirking and laughing at the Jets.”

Rodgers joined the Jets in the 2023 offseason after spending more than 15 years with the Green Bay Packers. Cowherd claimed the Packers who failed to qualify for the playoffs in Rodgers’ last year, made it in with Jordan Love in his first year as a starter. According to him, the Packers would be laughing back in Wisconsin because they had already faced the same in the last 4-5 years.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh in a press conference claimed the quarterback was in touch with him, stating that Rodgers was taking care of something personal.
Cowherd in his rant against Rodgers added that NFL Network’s Albert Breer would join him for more information. Although Breer did not reveal the exact location of the four-time NFL MVP, he did hint that it was a darkness retreat.
