Some more good news regarding Jordan Love’s injury has emerged this Saturday following the quarterback’s scary injury on Friday night.

Love got hurt on the final drive against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil, getting dragged down while attempting a pass in the hopes of helping the Green Bay Packers take the lead in the dying moments of the contest.

His knee buckled as he went down, and he was eventually helped off the field.

There were fears over a potential torn ACL. However, NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero has revealed that initial scans determined otherwise. Still, the QB will need to undergo further testing before an announcement is made.

“Initial tests indicated Jordan Love’s ACL is intact,” Pelissero tweeted. “But there’s a wide range of outcomes based on additional scans, which will occur when the team gets back to Green Bay later today.”

Social Media Thrilled With The Latest Jordan Love Update

With an ACL injury ruled out, fans reckon it’s likely an MCL issue.

“Good news. MCL sprain is highest probability,” one suggested.

“Best news you can get. The “pop” on the video was more than likely a patella dislocation. Would still be worried about the MCL because of mechanism,” someone else wrote.

“That is a good sign. I still have a bad feeling he is going to miss an extended period of time,” another predicted.

Love put in a respectable performance against Philadelphia on Friday, completing 17 of his 34 passing attempts for 260 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.

His efforts weren’t enough to hand Green Bay a win, but the team will be more concerned with his health after last night’s ordeal.
