One officer was swiftly put on administrative leave shortly after Tyreek Hill was detained and arrested while on the way to Hardrock Stadium for the Dolphin’s Week 1 game. The officer was Danny Torres, who had been in law enforcement for 27 years.
In the bodycam footage, Torres could be heard saying, “get out of the car,” or he would “break the f***ing window.”

Danny’s younger brother David is now calling out Tyreek for his behavior during the stop.
‘The tints that he had were illegal tints. For the safety of the officer, he has to be able to see inside the vehicle at all times,’ David insisted, speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com.‘
“Nobody really wants to admit that Tyreek disrespected the police officers,” he said, according to the Daily Mail.
“If you watch the video, he did not follow instructions from the get-go. He was yelling at the officer and telling him not to bang on his window. If you know anything about dealing with police officers, you know do not raise your window on them.”
“The officers have every right to keep themselves safe. And that’s exactly what happened. They were keeping themselves safe.”
Danny Torres is reportedly a Motorcycle Club member of the Peacemaker chapter of the Gunfighters and a military veteran.
Miami-Dade Police Director Stephanie Daniels put Danny on administrative duty after the Hill situation.
“My brother is a very charismatic guy, he’s very likeable,” he added. “Everywhere he goes people like him. H
e’s got a strong character but you have to have one to be a South Florida cop for so long. He’s just a straightforward, black and white kind of person. I don’t mean anything racial by that, I mean that he does things by the book. I think he is an excellent cop.
However, it doesn’t seem as though a permanent decision has been made about his status with the police department.
Tyreek Hill Likely Won’t Face Any Punishment From The NFL
Usually, when an NFL player gets in legal trouble like this, the league investigates if they need further punishment.
However, USA Today was told by an NFL spokesman that “the league will take no action.”
