Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is weighing legal action after he was handcuffed and detained during a traffic stop.

Just before Week One, Hill was grabbed from his sports car by his hands and head and thrown on the ground before he was handcuffed.

Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has stated previously that the 30-year-old Georgia native’s legal team “will be pursuing this matter on Tyreek’s behalf.”

Tyreek Hill spoke more on taking action this past Thursday:

Video of the incident showed Hill face down on the ground near his luxury sports car with an officer placing his knee on his back.

At least four officers were present.

Tyreek still made it to the Dolphins’ first game of the NFL season and even referenced his incident when he had one of his teammates pretend to place him in handcuffs to celebrate scoring a touchdown during the game.

Miami-Dade Cop Who Arrested Tyreek Hill Has History of Using Force

The Miami-Dade Police officer who pulled over Miami Dolphins’ superstar Tyreek Hill has a history of using force during his five years with the department.

His record might be cleaner than the officer who pinned Hill to the ground, but he has faced several complaints, per the Miami Herald.

Officer Manuel Batista has used force in two separate cases and faced four complaints since his employment in 2019, according to the report.

Batista used force in May 2021 and March 2022.

Should Hill take legal action, then this is certainly something that will be used against him.
