Social media lip readers detected Terry McLaurin’s message to Tyrique Stevenson during Sunday’s whacky Washington Commanders–Chicago Bears game.
Terry McLaurin’s Commanders improved to 6-2 on the season thanks to an improbable comeback win, with Jayden Daniels completing a Hail Mary touchdown to Noah Brown as time expired.
Things got testy between McLaurin and Stevenson in the waning seconds of the third quarter, when Chicago’s standout cornerback was flagged for unnecessary roughness after the former’s 25-yard reception.

Terry McLaurin & Commanders Are The NFL’s Biggest Surprise So Far
Improvement was inevitable for a Commanders team that brought in a new GM (Adam Peters), head coach (Dan Quinn) and can’t-miss rookie QB (Daniels). But nobody could have expected Washington to be 6-2 and atop the difficult NFC East through eight weeks.
McLaurin and the Commanders are a feel-good story and look every bit like a contender heading into the third month of the season. Up next, they’ll visit the NFC East rival New York Giants.
