It was just a horrible time to be inside Levi’s Stadium for the San Francisco 49ers, and their fan base is cracking at the seams

 

 

 

The team came into Thursday Night Football knowing they needed to win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

San Francisco held Rams star wide receiver Cooper Kupp without a catch, and they still couldn’t get things going on a rainy night in Santa Clara.

In the midst of their 12-6 loss to the Rams — 49ers fans were in the stands going to war with each other.

One video shows the fan base throwing punches at fellow fans in an argument that turned violent.

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for the game on the field, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy did not have a good showing.

 

 

He completed 14 of 31 passes for 142 yards with no touchdowns and one interception and rushed once for three yards in the 49ers’ 12-6 loss to the Rams on Thursday night.

Purdy now has thrown for 159 yards or fewer in three of his past four games.

 

 

 

Matthew Stafford wasn’t exactly lighting it up as he completed 16 of his 27 passes for 160 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions while adding 18 rushing yards.

San Francisco 49ers Playoff Hopes Dealt Critical Blow

The San Francisco 49ers’ chances of making the playoffs are in jeopardy after they lost 12-6 to the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night.

The 6-8 team now sit 2.5 games behind the NFC West-leading Seattle Seahawks, who are 8-5.

The Rams improved to 8-6 with their win.

The 49ers finish the season with games against the Miami Dolphins, the NFL-best Detroit Lions in Santa Clara, and the Arizona Cardinals.

They are running out of time.
