Dallas Cowboys superfan Skip Bayless is no more
The former ESPN and Fox Sports 1 sports television personality was a longtime fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Bayless’ love for perhaps the most hated professional sports team in America worked perfectly with his polarizing personality.
But two weeks after the archrival Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59, Skip Bayless has decided to go full Benedict Arnold. So do look away, Cowboys fans.
In a four-minute video posted on his X/Twitter account, Bayless announced that he was giving up his Cowboys fanship. Bayless recalled his prediction from August about the Eagles winning Super Bowl 59.
Bayless then took off his Brandon Aubrey Cowboys jersey and revealed that he purchased a Jalen Hurts jersey. Bayless says, “It has come to this, ladies and gentlemen,” before tossing aside the Aubrey jersey to put on the Hurts one:
IT HAS COME TO THIS, COWBOY FANS … MY NEW “LUCKY” JERSEY … IS GREEN! pic.twitter.com/hhfNUTfhMm

“Fly Eagles fly! It’s your fault, Jerry Jones! You made me do this,” Skip Bayless added at the end of the video.
Yikes: Skip Bayless has GIVEN UP on the Cowboys and is now an Eagles fan after they won the Super Bowl.

You know things aren’t going well for the Cowboys when Bayless, of all people, gives up on the team. Don’t forget all those years of him making excuses for America’s Team whenever they came up short.
Skip Bayless Will Be Much Happier As An Eagles Fan

One can argue that no NFL fanbase has suffered more than Cowboys Nation since they last won the Super Bowl in the 1995 season. The Eagles, on the other hand, have rewarded their fans with three NFC Championship banners and two Lombardi Trophies in the past eight years.
So congrats to Bayless on the change of his loyalty. Instead of going through constant torture and heartbreak as a Dallas fan, he can now enjoy cheering for a perennial winner in the Eagles.
