Arkansas Razorbacks senior running back Ja’Quinden Jackson may have got himself a girlfriend following a long touchdown during Thursday night’s 2024 season opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
With about 5:15 remaining in the first quarter, as the Razorbacks had the ball on the Arkansas-Pine Bluff 46-yard line with a 14-0 lead, star quarterback Taylen Green took the shotgun snap and tossed it to Ja’Quinden Jackson in the backfield.
A ton of key blocks set the dynamic running back up to do the rest as he ran for a 46-yard touchdown.
As he crossed the goal line, Jackson looked over to his left at the Arkansas-Pine Bluff cheerleaders standing near the bleachers. He decided to shoot his shot as one of them by waving as he walked back to the bench.
You can tell the wave did something to the cheerleader as she immediately turned to her friend in amazement.

There is nothing wrong with the players having a little fun during the game, as long as they stay focused on the task at hand, which he clearly did.
Ja’Quinden Jackson made his presence felt in Arkansas football’s season-opening win against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at War Memorial Stadium as he rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries, per his stats on ESPN.
All of that production came in the first half.
Ja’Quinden Jackson Is In His first Year With Arkansas After Transfering
The buzz around Ja’Quinden Jackson continues to grow, especially after his performance against the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions.
The Arkansas Razorbacks desperately needed him after losing starting RB Rocket Sanders.
In January, he announced that he would be transferring to Arkansas after spending his first three years playing for Utah.
All it took was one game to show how important Ja’Quinden Jackson is to the Razorbacks. He rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns.
The team is hoping to improve on their 4-8 record from a year ago.
