The New York Jets and Buffalo Bills are facing off on “Monday Night Football” to conclude Week 6 of the regular season. In the booth for ESPN are broadcasters Joe Buck and Troy Aikman
On the last play of the first half, quarterback Aaron Rodgers launched a 52-yard Hail Mary touchdown pass that Allan Lazard caught. It was an amazing play that rarely happens.
However, Buck is now catching some heat on social media for his commentary during the play.
During the call, Buck had falsely called the play incomplete until doubling back once he saw a referee signaling a touchdown.
He was monotone throughout the entire thing, making it feel a bit less special.

“Worst Joe Buck call since “that was a disgusting act by Randy Moss,” said one comment.
“This is actually nuts. 21 seconds left and I turned it off at half, assuming a kneel down lmao Thanks for ruining a legendary moment Joe Buck,” said another.
Joe Buck Is One Of The Highest Paid Sports Broadcasters
Many people might not like it when Buck calls a game for their favorite team, but the broadcaster has made himself one of the highest paid in his field.
Currently, Buck makes between $12 – 15 million a year for ESPN in 2022 to be the every weekman for “Monday Night Football.
That makes him the fourth highest-paid NFL broadcaster, sitting just behind his partner Troy Aikman.
