Jane Slater caused a bit of a stir online after sharing some photos from her weekend in Dallas.
Slater, who covers the Dallas Cowboys for NFL Network, is a big Longhorns fan, having attended the University of Texas. She makes it her duty to attend a game or two every season and was around for the Red River Rivalry game against Oklahoma this Saturday.
She must have had an enjoyable outing as Texas blew the Sooners out 34-3, holding them scoreless in the first quarter. The following day, she took to Instagram to share some snaps from her weekend, including photos showing her in a spicy cowgirl outfit featuring a Texas vest, denim shorts, and boots.
“X/OU weekend. Hung in there like the Horns in the first quarter on those first few drives. Love seeing all my humans once a year and Elderbook as the added bonus. #hookem,” Slater wrote as the caption to the slide, which you can check out in full here.

It wasn’t an all-around great weekend for Jane, though. The team she covers, the Dallas Cowboys, weren’t as fortunate as they were on the wrong end of a blowout result, losing 47-9 to the Detroit Lions on Sunday
